Ever since the founding of the company in 1890 as a manufacturer of a cast-iron water supply pipelines, Kubota has continuously contributed to the progress of society through its manufacturing activities and technological developments. In the 1920s, Kubota developed and produced the company's first compact kerosene engines for agricultural use. In 1930s, Kubota started producing diesel engines to meet the needs of people who demanded for more powerful engines. Throughout the years, Kubota has always produced the most technologically advanced engines possible. Today, people are becoming more concerned with energy and environment preservation. This will eventually lead to greater demands for even higher quality and much more versatile engines.
